Joule is a heating and plumbing manufacturer who needed help with their social media. They were after high-quality, consistent content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin to boost their engagement and sales – and the Stada Media team were more than happy to oblige.
Joule are leaders in their industry. But, their social media was falling short – frankly, they just weren’t seeing any value from it. They needed a consistent, creative social media strategy that got results. That’s where we jumped in.
Another obstacle was capturing a niche audience of plumbers, engineers and families interested in Joule’s renewable products. This pushed us to make Joule’s content accessible, yet informative and valuable.
Under Joule Group, there were three separate brands that required our attention: Joule, ThermaQ and RM Cylinders. We had to consider content, tone and brand voice for these three brands and ensure they all flowed well alongside each other. Our posts also needed to appeal to Joule’s niche audience, which varied ever so slightly across each brand.
Another challenge of this project was getting creative in a traditional industry that is not usually associated with ‘fresh’ or playful social media content.
To create a foundation for Joule’s content, we produced a live-action video on location. This provided us with a huge stream of high-quality video content that we could distribute across social media for Joule’s three brands.
As for the posts themselves, we created an organised, consistent and creative schedule that ensured Joule was constantly active and in front of people’s eyes. We also maintained a consistent voice and style to fine-tune the Joule brand.
Our social media content for Joule passed with flying colours – all Joule Group brands and their social media platforms enjoyed a rise in engagement, providing the business with increased website traffic from potential customers.
