Foregale, a local steel roofing and reinforcement specialist, wanted us to improve their social media presence by creating consistent, relevant and high-quality social media content and scheduling it across their social media channels. We knew just what they needed to boost their image online.

THE PROBLEM

As roofing, and construction in general, are quite niche areas, this posed a challenge in widening Foregale’s audience.

On top of this, although the majority of Foregale’s business is B2B, they serve anyone in need of roofing supplies. This includes people who might not know what products they need until they are advised – in a way that’s both coherent and shows understanding of their needs.

THE CHALLENGE

The problems Foregale were facing made it clear that they needed engaging yet accessible content to maximise possibilities of business from all kinds of customers – whether it be a contractor or someone working on a DIY project.

So, we accepted the challenge of creating all kinds of social media content – video, photo, text-based – that made roofing fun and appealing to the average member of the public.

THE SOLUTION

To raise Foregale’s visibility and appeal on social media, we dug in and got creative. We worked to highlight Foregale’s reputation as a trustworthy local business.

To do this, we curated a presence that brought out the fun the whole team had together, whether that was in the steel shed or in the office – for example, in the candidly-shot Foregale Diaries, released monthly. These videos positioned Foregale as a friendly, fun-loving team who also knew their stuff and worked hard to deliver above and beyond.

We also ensured the social posts talked about Foregale’s products in an informative yet conversational way, to appeal to all kinds of customers and ensure nothing was lost in translation.

The social media content we created for Foregale built them an engaged audience and boosted their reach by over 60%. The quality of the content solidified their brand credibility, while the accessible tone widened their customer base. The Foregale brand was brought to life.
