Videos Worth Sharing: McDonald’s TV Ad 2017, International Day Of The Girl & More

This week’s selection of videos is full of light-hearted laughs and guilty pleasures, courtesy of Three UK, Shell and Go Compare. Enjoy!

This week’s selection of videos is full of food, frights and freedom… courtesy of the McDonald’s TV ad 2017 and more. Enjoy!

McDonald’s TV Ad 2017 – The Signature Collection

Who doesn’t want luxury in a bun? But is McDonald’s new TV ad taking it too far?

This very luxury advert advertises their new signature collection, which is exclusively available at selected restaurants. For example, you can choose from The Classic, The BBQ or The Spicy.

This ad is reflecting the luxury that perfume or watch adverts provide, showing that their new menu is perfection. Yum yum!

Freedom – International Day Of The Girl

Quite a contrast from the McDonald’s 2017 TV ad, this video aims to fight for social change.

Girls around the world are fighting for their freedom. This International Day of the Girl is hugely supported by Beyonce, helping girls raise their voice. It is created to generate awareness for girls; however, it’s also an opportunity for us to give our opinions on what #FreedomForGirls means.

Some of the biggest challenges girls face are access to education, child marriage and the threat of violence. However, if we work together we can make sure world leaders deliver. As a result, every girl grows up healthy, safe, empowered and able to fulfil her dreams.

And come on, who is a better role model than Beyonce for empowering women?

ASDA Halloween TV Ad 2017

Following on from McDonald’s 2017 TV ad, there are more tasty-looking treats on their way to you…

ASDA has started its trick or treating early with their 1980s themed Halloween commercial. They seek to get customers in the mood for a good old scare.

ASDA’s 2017 Halloween TV ad kicks off with a bolt of green lightning energising a Halloween party. In addition, it shows multiple generations from the kids to the grandparents.

It showcases the possessed family alongside a number of costumes, cakes and pumpkins. As a result, the ad positions the supermarket as the go-to retailer for Halloween supplies.

What do you think of this week’s picks? Did they get you in the spooky mood?
